Dear Supporters,

Since 2010, Harlem9 has gathered 6 playwrights + 6 directors + 18 actors to re-conceive classic plays from the African Diaspora, or to be inspired by poets native to Detroit, for example.   All over the course of one weekend in our host city.

From 2020 - 2021, we focused on digital offerings  due to social distancing guidelines and produced a virtual 48Hours in...™ Harlem and a 48Hours in...™ El Bronx that season.

We are pleased however, that our 12th Annual 48Hours in...™ Harlem is BACK in Harlem on Sunday, August 21, 2022 with TWO shows at 7pm and 9:30pm   BUY YOUR TICKETS HERE!

Your support contributes to be the growth of our annual institution – helping us make yet another evening showcasing amazing black theatrical talent in New York City (and now across the nation) possible, so that a line will once again form along 147th Street, inside of Old Main or down 5th Avenue, in front of National Black Theatre, as it did down St. Nicholas Avenue in front of HSA Theater, our first year, in 2011.

If you make a tax-deductible donation to our efforts, your contribution will be acknowledged and greatly appreciated.

Harlem9 is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the purposes of 48Hours in... Harlem must be made payable to Fractured Atlas and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Additionally, please check out our most recent anthology on Amazon.

Thank you for your generous support.

Sincerely,

The Producers of Harlem9
